Faculty:

Academic Faculty who have done extensive research in business education internationally. Practitioners and Adjunct Faculty who have lead organizations and are experts in their field. Dr. Kamla Mungal

Dr. Kamla Mungal is the Director of Academic Development and Accreditation and the Director of the Leadership Institute at the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business. Dr. Mungal is also the Programme Director for the BISB. She is currently a  lecturer for Organizational Behaviour and Development. Previously, she has taught at the UWI, School of Education and the Mount Saint Vincent University in Canada.  Her specializations include curriculum design, development and implementation, leadership and leadership of educational organizations.  She was the Programme Co-coordinator for the TTUTA/Mount Saint Vincent Master of Education programme from 2001-2006.

Dr. Mungal obtained her Doctorate in Business Administration from Aston University. She completed her B.Ed. (Honors) and Master of Education at UWI and holds an Executive MBA (Distinction) degree from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.   Her research area is the governance of cross-sectoral initiatives including public-private partnerships and her thesis focuses on understanding how they work in strategic networks.

Mr. Gill

Mr. Gill is a member of the adjunct faculty at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business (GSB) and is a practicum advisor in the areas of strategic planning and development as well as marketing. Though he lectures and facilitates programmes in strategic management and business development, his substantive post is as a lecturer in Strategic Planning, Strategic Management and Business Development Analysis. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The University of The West Indies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management (MSM) in The Netherlands.

Mr. Gill has a served as a senior executive responsible for developing local, regional and international markets for some twenty years. Most recently, he has been engaged in developing markets such as Jamaica and other CARICOM economies including Belize, Guyana and Suriname. In Central America, he has done extensive work in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and El Salvador.  From an entrepreneurship perspective, he has worked with several small and medium sized enterprises to assist them in conducting market assessments, implementing strategic initiatives, analyzing appropriate distribution networks and bringing relevant products to market.

Dr. Ferdinand

Dr. Ferdinand is a senator with the New Democratic Party (NDP) in St. Vincent and the Grenadines as well as a business consultant, lecturer and author. He lectures in Corporate Turnaround, Strategic Management, Multinational Strategy, and the Global Strategy and Innovation courses in the Masters in Business Administration (IMBA) programmes at the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business. He also taught Strategic Planning in the Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) programme at the Cave Hill School of Business (UWI, Barbados) and conducted the Strategy Dynamics course in the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programmes at both business schools.

Dr. Ferdinand received initial training in education before embarking on a career in business management. He has a teachers’ training certificate from the University of the West Indies, a Diploma in Special Education from the University of Birmingham in England, and a certificate in Residential Social Work from the Glasspole Child Care Training Centre in Jamaica. He obtained his Masters in Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of the West Indies and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Bradford (England).

During your four  (4) year journey in this programme, you would have:

The Lok Jack GSB facilities is always complimented by students and visitors to the institution.  The classrooms are fitted with the latest technology and comfortable seating whether lecture or group styled. It is conducive to learning with our Zen areas to the side of the main campus where students can relax. The Republic Bank library is excellent for finding articles, journals, materials and books required for reading and research. The cafeteria accommodates meals on a daily basis with air conditioned indoor dining or the outside patio with beautiful green scenery and flowing water.
