Estrella Hernandez is the Coordinator within the Organisational Development and Assessment Centre, which forms part of the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business Consulting Arm. In this role, she liaises with both internal and external stakeholders to manage and administer the Admissions Assessment across all academic programmes, oversee aspects of Institutional Effectiveness reporting, and coordinate and oversee the general data management of the centre. Additionally, she provides support for the Business Development initiatives of the centre. She regularly interfaces with both current and potential students, faculty and staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery for varying needs.
Estrella possesses a BSc. (honours) in Sociology from the University of the West Indies and is currently pursuing a MSc. in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Additionally, Estrella has gained qualifications in Industrial relations, CV Fraud and Credential Forensics, Competency Based Interviewing and is certified to administer, interpret and conduct feedback for the 16PF and WAVE psychometric tools.
Prior to joining the Lok Jack GSB, Estrella was a Human Resource Professional with the Government Human Resource Services Company Limited, a then wholly owned state enterprise whose mandate was to provide the full cadre of human resource services to the Public Sector. In this role, she actively participated in successful recruitment and selection exercises for multiple public sector vacancies, developed, coordinated and administered training interventions, provided psychometric feedback as well as high-level administrative and technical support for all other human resource initiatives. Her training and experience have strengthened her passion and abilities for delivering customer service excellence, ensuring the client experience, creating value expectations, and delivering results.
