This workshop is designed to create awareness on major tax issues inherent in business and applicable to persons exercising employment. Participants will become more familiar with their tax obligations as well as the basis for taxation both in relation to exercising employment and the operation of a business or company.
Taxation 101 focuses on fundamental tax concepts, an understanding of which will enable participants to incorporate tax factors into their business, employment and general undertakings. At the end of the workshop participants will participate in computing basic income tax and corporation tax computations designed to test their understanding of the key concepts and to apply these concepts practically to situations.
