Project Management Concepts and Applications

Often professional personnel, who do not have formal training in project management, find themselves assigned to perform in a project team environment and are not equipped with the basic understanding of the project management processes.

This training course is designed to fill those gaps. It will help persons to   understand what is required in the Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling, and Closing out phases of their projects. Use of Project Management concepts will also assist the project being managed to be delivered more efficiently i.e. within time, within budget, and within quality parameters. It is a foundation course from which they can build their skill sets in project management.

Description

Participants will leave this programme with the ability to identify and explain essential “must-do” steps in Project Planning, Implementation and Close-Out and Select essential project deliverables. Participants will learn how to prepare a project charter, project work breakdown structure, project cost estimate and project schedule.
