Lok Jack GSB supports Alumni to study for PhD in China

The Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business has assisted Alumni, Kevin Fleary on his journey to the University of Shanghai for Science & Technology (USST), Shanghai, China. Mr. Fleary commences his PhD in Management Science and Engineering, in September 2013 and will be studying for a four year period at USST.

Kevin Fleary was the winner at the 2012 Mentorship Programme for "Most Dynamic Duo," with his Mentor, Romel Lallo. He is a graduate of the International MBA at the Lok Jack GSB, and visited China in 2012 as part of the School's International Study Tour. In August and September 2012, fifty (50) students, alumni and members of faculty visited Beijing and Shanghai, to learn about doing business with China. During this time, the group was privy to lectures conducted at the USST and visited a number of companies.

Subsequent to the tour, Mr. Fleary was provided with a full scholarship for tuition by the USST for his area of study. At the ceremony to sign the Commitment Agreement with Lok Jack GSB, Mr. Fleary said that he was excited to represent Trinidad and Tobago in China, and looked forward to the adventure of moving to China.

Lok Jack GSB wishes Mr. Fleary all the best on his future studies, and looks forward to having him return to the School as a member of Faculty in 2017.
